Namaz Vakti — Prayer Times · Last updated 18 June 2026
Namaz Vakti (“the app”) shows Muslim prayer times and the direction of the Qibla. It is built to respect your privacy: the app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers operated by the developer. This policy explains what the app does with information on your device.
The developer does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. There is no sign-up, no tracking across apps or websites, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.
If you turn on Automatic location (or use the Qibla compass), the app uses your device’s location only while you are using the app (“When In Use”) to:
Your coordinates are processed on your device and through Apple’s built-in geocoding service
(CLGeocoder) to turn them into a place name; this is handled by Apple under
Apple’s privacy policy. Your precise location is
never sent to the developer and is not stored off your device. You can use the app
without location by choosing a city manually (Pinned mode), and you can revoke location
access at any time in iOS Settings.
Prayer times come from the public EzanVakti service, which republishes the official
tables of the Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet). To fetch a month of times, the app
sends only a district identifier (the city you selected or that was matched from your
location) to ezanvakti.emushaf.net. No personal information is included in that request.
Downloaded times are cached locally on your device so the app works offline and makes fewer requests.
If you enable prayer-time notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No push servers and no notification data are involved.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, and contains no objectionable content.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new “last updated” date.
